I’ve realised every day as a constant battle against morals, against principles you’ve known all your life. You get to realise how they don’t always go hand in hand. Is one right, as in the absolute, or is one wrong, consequently a road to misfortunes? Or perhaps the trick to this matter is to search for the perfect compromise between them. Even sacred scriptures are situational.
Nothing has racked my brains more in search of just that than these past few months, my first few semesters of university. Writing this, I probably sound like a whiny freshman. Yet, another mindset I put in writing to defend myself: I’ll put the pitying towards myself in my works first and foremost, to lessen the matter of other people’s judgement later on.
